While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I found behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I stepped inside , it was immediately obvious that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets polluted the entire bar . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , decay and sickness . The serving zone , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . His presence at the bar often appeared as that of a unsettling figure than a friendly owner .
